What Do I Do?

If you’re a Maine resident:

Step 1)
Call the state office serving your county on a weekday between 8am and 5pm (see below for phone numbers).  If you are unable to get through, try calling a different state office or the D.C. office.  Don’t leave a voicemail–keep trying until you speak to a real person.

Step 2)
State your name and the town you live in, what you’re asking of Sen. Collins (leave the Republican Party to stand up to Trump), and why you think standing up to Trump is important, in your own words. You may want to jot down a few bullets in advance, but the most important thing is that your message is authentic.   Be specific in what you’re asking for from the Senator.  Above all, please be respectful to Sen. Collins and her staff.

Step 3)
Log your call here.  It’s important that you fill it out every time you speak to a real person so we can track our progress and the scale of our impact!

Step 4)
Get at least two other Maine residents to join our campaign and call Sen. Collins, too, so the campaign can keep growing!

Step 5)

Call again the next day!  As a Mainer, you need to be heard much more than well meaning out of state callers who may be tying up the phone lines!

If you’re NOT a Maine resident:

Sorry, but we don’t want to clog the phones so much with non-residents that this movement doesn’t get taken seriously by the Senator.  Try calling a state office for one of your own Senators to encourage them to stand up to Trump!
